CHRONOS is a project promoted by the County Council of Pontevedra in collaboration with the County Council of Coruña, The employment Council Xunta de Galicia, CCOO, UGT, CEG, Bic-Minho, Provincia di Viterbo and Talete Società Cooperativa.

Chronos has been financed in virtue of the article 6 of the Regulation 1784/1999 of the European Social Fund “Innovative Approaches of the management of Change” and the chapter considers the management of the demographic change which supports the innovative initiatives in order to promote the active ageing and increase the employment rate of the oldest employees.

Chronos aims to displace the concern about the older employees to all the active participants in particular (Public Administrations, private companies and the representatives of the employees) and to society in general by anticipating the demographic problems, maintaining those workers employed.
